Here’s a little about the process. This ensures that we create a cake specifically designed for your event.
In the initial phase of designing a wedding or special event cake for you, I will gather all the details about your event.
I want to know the feel of your event. Is it happy and romantic or a luxurious black tie affair? Is the theme colorful and trendy or monotone and classic? What are the colors? Is there a special monogram? I gather all the details!
All of this information is gathered during our 1 hour cake tasting and consultation that you can schedule here. Oh, and did I mention there would cake?!
After gathering all the details of your event, I then take a couple of days researching, planning and gathering ideas for your unique cake design.
After this brainstorming session, a proposal is sent to you with three different options. Upon deciding that I am definitely the cake designer for you, your date is secured with a 30% or $300 retainer.
I will then email you a detailed sketch of the design option that you selected. And we will modify the sketch as needed to insure you are thrilled with your design.
We’ve selected the design. Your date is officially booked. Now’s time that your cake design gets transformed into delicious, edible art!
While you are busy planning your event, I take care of everything from here. Creation, execution, delivery, and setup.
Your cake is now ready to grace the table at your event, helping to create memories that will last forever.
